Slavonia is located on the northeastern side of Croatia and it is a geographical and historical region that's well-developed in agriculture because of many rivers, brooks and beautiful forests where you can enjoy, rest and relax. Slavonia is surrounded by the rivers Sava, Drava and Dunav: by the Drava river in the north, the Sava river in the south, and the Dunav in the east.
It is known as a region of exceptional beauty with green landscapes and numerous castles, summer homes which once belonged to the wealthy. This picturesque landscape offer variety of sports like fishing, hunting and some other activities of rural tourism. Slavonia also have a number of hills and the main ones are Psunj, Papuk, Požeška Gora, Ravna gora, Krndija and Dilj.
On the place between the rivers of Dunav and Drava is situated a natural phenomena - Park prirode Kopački Rit - it is a rest of the Pannonian see and has favorable flora and fauna with more of 40 types of fish.
This all area is divided in seven counties with the town of Osijek as the largest center, situated next to the river Drava and it is a historical and modern city rich in culture, entertainment, industry...
Other important cities are: Slavonski Brod, Vinkovci, Vukovar, Đakovo, Pozega, Virovitica, Nova Gradiska, Slatina, Zupanja, Nasice, Valpovo, Belisce.
