Zagreb is the largest city of Croatia and also the administrative, diplomatic, cultural, scientific, economic and governmental center of the country, with a population of almost one million. It is the capital of Croatia, situated between the southern slopes of the Medvednica mountain and both banks of the river Sava, in the heart of Europe.
It is very well developed center of university with 40 higher education schools and rich history of education. The first school was built in the middle of the 14th century, while in 16 century Zagreb already had first university.
