History
The city of Šibenik is often called Krešimir town, it was mentioned for the first time in 1066.year in the written document of the King Petar Krešimir 4. In the 13th century it had gotten the status of the city, when the Cathedral of Saint Jakov has been built, which is today the symbol of the city and it was put at the list of monument heritage under the UNESCO protection. During the 15th and 16th century it becomes one of the most significant Croatian Renaissance centre in time when one of the most beautiful historical art works were made.
